Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), a division of United State Department of Transportation (USDOT) provides the overarching guidelines, rules and regulations related to Registration & Licensing, Safety and information related to Hazmat and Non Hazmat material transportation.
Working closely with Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) on a USDOT Commercial Vehicle Information Systems Network (CVISN) grant, we developed comprehensive requirements documentation for Ohio Motor Carrier Information System (OMCIS). OMCIS consists of an integrated Registration, Forfeiture, Insurance and Payment solutions in a web based environment.
On another CVISN grant, we designed, developed and implemented a robust web based Civil Forfeiture/Violation Information System for PUCO. This Forfeiture system which is an integral part of OMCIS integrates the Roadside Inspections and Compliance Reviews by capturing the data straight from SafetyNet system and creates cases, fine letters and tracking information. It takes the entire case through a logical process towards its closure.
Our Framework which is based on a workflow concept can help you rapidly deploy a Civil Violation System within a few months and can be easily customized to suit your needs.
